Lawyer Elena Lo Surdo

Elena Lo Surdo was born in Monza, Italy, on 25th September 1988.

After graduating from high school with a specialisation in pedagogic studies she attended the Law School at the University of Milan – Bicocca.

In 2013 Ms. Lo Surdo graduated with honours in civil procedural law, under the supervision of Professor Filippo Danovi.

Ms. Lo Surdo obtained her licence to practice law in 2015 and was admitted to the Milan Bar Association in 2016.

Ms. Lo Surdo has taken part in a number of conferences on family law, private international and procedural law, and juvenile law.

Since 2013 she has worked alongside Donata Piantanida, with whom she shares a passion for family law with a special focus on protecting minors’ rights.

Ms. Lo Surdo inherited her passion for the law from her father and grandfather, both of whom are civil lawyers, and inherited her keen interest in devotion to minors’ rights from her mother, a primary schoolteacher.
